This is such a small gem. The owner (I'm assuming) was very nice and food was delicious. We got the Ruben sandwich w pumpernickel bread, and the pierogies (cheese and potatoes, beef, and mushroom with sour kraut). The sandwich was probably the best part, I had some bbq chips on top the sandwich which made it taste better even. Will say, bathrooms (as of now) don't flush.

Middle of the road Hungarian cuisine. We sampled the tripe stew, chicken paprikash, and chicken soup. Having eaten in Hungary on numerous occasions, we found the food bland. Perhaps it is made to cater to the American taste. The tripe was well prepared, as this is something difficult to cook properly. All in all, it was a good meal, but the passion in preparation was lacking.

Went there today for the first time and it was so good. The service was excellent and the dessert with espresso was fabulous, schnitzel plate was so big I had to give my husband half of mine! One of the top five best places I’ve eaten at here in Sarasota. I love the culture vibe.

What a fabulous little spot! True authentic Eastern European Cuisine cooked by the people serving it to you. Very modest setting, but the prices versus the amount of food that you get is outstanding. We had the borscht and the pierogies with pork schnitzel and mashed potatoes served with mustard that is fresh off the boat from Hungary. Bringing a poppy seed loaf home with me. As a Ukrainian I can assure you, this is the real deal

Fantastic meals! We got the pierogis (tried each of the three kinds), the chicken paprikash, beef stew, and pork schnitzel. Every bite was delicious. Good Polish and Ukrainian beer. We’re looking forward to our next meal!
